NWIHP Framework Papers
The Brief, Target Market & My Role:
The National Women and Infants Health Programme was established in January 2017, to lead the management, organisation and delivery of maternity, gynaecology and neonatal services across the Republic of Ireland.
As part of this work, Programme Facilitators requested the design of three framework papers aimed at reproductive academics, each covering a sensitive topic related to female reproductive health.
With previous NWIHP jobs, I was able to use stock photography of post labour Mothers with healthy babies; however, due to the sensitive nature of topics covered, such as endometriosis (which can make carrying a baby full term quite difficult), an abstract cover, which still alluded to the female reproductive system was the design solution.
In order to keep consistency, as these papers were to be part of a triad, I repeated the same cover pattern, but with each topic identified by its own colour system, taken from the HSE brand guidelines.
